Player Development Programs

Mandatory AAA/Majors baseball assessments.

  • Arrive a few minutes early for your assessment window; check-in begins at 1:00 PM.
  • Stations: throwing/catching, IF/OF reads, tee/front toss, timed baserunning; pitching/catching evaluated as a dedicated station.
  • Bring glove, water, warm clothing, turf shoes/sneakers/cleats (no metal spikes), batting helmet (loaners may be available), bat (optional).
  • Rain or shine; dress accordingly.

Prep & player development

  • Free February turf tune-ups post to the PD dashboard when fields are locked.
  • Use the PD dashboard for arm care and hitting homework ahead of your slot.

Volunteer roles

Friends of NCLL host Nicola Simpson for a four-Sunday winter pitching clinic built for AAA/Majors arms'small cohorts, high feedback, and club/select-caliber instruction.

Players lock one animal-named cohort and stay with the same group for both weeks to maximize continuity.
