Sports Connect Help
Import Your Team Calendar
Follow the steps below to pull your Sports Connect team schedule into Gmail/Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar (iCal) so practices and games show up alongside the rest of your family’s events.
Step 1 — Grab the Sports Connect link
- Sign in at ncllball.com and open the Team Central > Team Directory page.
- Select your player’s team and choose the Calendar tab.
- Click the Subscribe or Download calendar option. Sports Connect shows a long link ending in
.ics.
- Copy the full link (Control/Command + C). You’ll paste it into whichever calendar app your family uses.
Why copy the link instead of a one-time download? Subscribing keeps the calendar in sync if your coach moves a practice or adds a make-up game.
Add to Gmail / Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar in a browser.
- On the left, find Other calendars and select the + icon.
- Choose From URL, paste the Sports Connect link, then click Add calendar.
- Rename it (e.g., “AA Mariners Practices”) by hovering over the new calendar, selecting the 3-dot menu, and clicking Settings.
Google checks subscribed calendars roughly every few hours; urgent changes still come via coach email or Team Chat.
Add to Outlook
Outlook on the web
- Go to Outlook Calendar.
- Click Add calendar > Subscribe from web.
- Paste the Sports Connect link, give the calendar a name/color, and hit Import.
Outlook desktop (Microsoft 365)
- Open Outlook and switch to the Calendar view.
- Choose Add Calendar > Subscribe from Web (New Outlook) or Open Calendar > From Internet… (Classic Outlook).
- Paste the link, confirm, and save the new calendar.
If you imported the ICS file instead of subscribing, delete it and repeat the steps above so Outlook keeps syncing future updates.
Add to Apple Calendar (Mac + iOS)
On a Mac
- Open the Calendar app.
- Select File > New Calendar Subscription….
- Paste the Sports Connect link and click Subscribe.
- Pick a calendar name, color, and refresh frequency (e.g., hourly) and click OK.
On iPhone / iPad
- Copy the Sports Connect link so it’s on your clipboard.
- Go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other.
- Choose Add Subscribed Calendar, paste the link into the Server box, and tap Next.
- Adjust optional settings (description, alerts) and tap Save. Events now appear in the Calendar app and sync via iCloud.
Troubleshooting tips
- “Can’t subscribe” errors: Make sure the link still ends with
.ics and wasn’t shortened by email clients.
- Missing updates: Verify you subscribed to the URL instead of importing a downloaded file, then wait for the next sync window.
- Multiple teams: Repeat the steps per team—each subscribed calendar can be toggled on/off separately.
