What you get

  • End-of-season plaque to showcase your support.
  • Seasonal add-ons: banners, clinics, or event support.

Why it matters

  • Offsets costs for equipment, uniforms, field rentals, and maintenance.
  • Funds training materials and scholarships so every kid can play.

2025 season: $900 per team (covers uniforms). NCLL is a 501(c)(3).

Equipment Donations

Baseball icon

Got gear collecting dust in the garage? Lightly used gloves, helmets, bats, and catcher’s equipment go straight back to the field — keeping every kid geared up and registration costs down for families who need it most.

What helps most

  • Gloves, helmets, catcher’s gear in good condition.
  • Field tools: rakes, drags, chalkers, tarps.
  • Storage: bins, shelves for sheds.

What happens to donations

  • All donated gear is inspected for safety — cracked bats, damaged helmets, and broken catcher’s equipment are discarded.
  • Approved items are cleaned and made available to families who need them.
  • Surplus gear may be donated to Pitch In For Baseball & Softball , a national nonprofit that has helped nearly one million kids play.
  • NCLL is a 501(c)(3) — equipment donations may be tax-deductible.

Volunteer Lite is a lightweight way to pitch in with no long-term commitment or baseball experience required. Join an opt-in list and we will reach out when help is needed. If you are available, great; if not, maybe next time.

Flash-mob field crew that swoops in after rain to keep diamonds playable.

  • Purpose: Rapid-response field work when weather hits
  • What you'll do: Rake, broom, sponge, lay turface, clear drains
  • Callouts: SMS-first for urgent needs; occasional email for weekend planning
  • Best for: Parents near our parks or anyone who can jump in on short notice
  • Frequency: Only when needed (rain days)

Pop-up logistics squad that keeps Opening Day, Photo Day, and Derby shifts humming.

  • Purpose: Keep Opening Day, Photo Day, and Home Run Derby running smoothly
  • What you'll do: Set up, check-in, line management, breakdown
  • Callouts: Email-first with shift signups; occasional SMS reminders
  • Best for: Parents who like organized, time-boxed tasks
  • Frequency: A few events per season
