2024-25 Winter Training AAA/Majors REGISTRATION
Hello NCLL Families! Pardon the dust around here, but we're in the middle of a major reorganization of our website. We're changing it up to focus on informative, relevant, and actionable content for our parents, coaches, and umpires. Coming soon!
Until then, we wanted to get our winter training information out there.
Program Goals
Provide fun, age-appropriate practices designed to advance players' skills in three areas crucial to baseball success -- pitching, hitting, and strong athletic movement. This program is designed to:
- Extend the baseball training season for motivated players.
- Ready AAA or Majors players for successful Little League seasons.
- Ensure that young players have a chance to learn advanced techniques and get many reps hitting and pitching, which are challenging to do in-season.
- Allow athletes room to grow without requiring extensive commitments like select baseball.
10 Weeks of Training
- Kids will be split into groups based on age/ability/times available.
- The training will begin the week of November 4th and run through January.
- We will meet weekly indoors and focus on conditioning and batting.
Locations & Times
- Indoor training will be at The Hive on Elliot Ave near the Expedia Hub on Monday, Friday, or Sunday evenings or Focus Cages on Aurora Ave on Thursday evenings.
- Please indicate your preferences for a specific day of the week in the registration form, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
- First practice - Week of November 4th.
- Last practice - Week of 1/27, wrapping up before NCLL assessments.
- No practices on the following weeks: 11/25 (Thanksgiving), 12/23, and 12/30 (Winter Break).
Coaches & Volunteers
- Coaches for our upcoming AAA and Majors seasons have agreed to support our winter training.
- Each session will have a coach to lead and organize the group.
- Parent Assistants - We will need to have a parent assistant for each practice group to assist with keeping the kids moving through drills. When you enroll, please mark your interest in helping out.
Cost
- The program will be $250 / child for winter training.
- If cost is a barrier, scholarships are available**.
Registration
- To complete your registration, you must either have an existing account with Sports Connect or be prepared to create one.
- Gamechanger (schedule, chat, standings, etc.) integration requires the same email address being used for both platforms.
- Before proceeding, please have the following information ready:
- Your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card
- Medical and emergency contact information for your player, including the doctor’s phone number, health insurance details, and the date of the last tetanus booster.
Please continue to the registration listing below to proceed. Remember to use the same email address as Gamechanger.
**NCLL believes that no one should be denied the ability to play ball due to economic circumstances. Each year, we grant scholarships to families who may need assistance. If you are interested, please fill this form out and our registrar will get back to you with a code to input into the PROMO field at checkout.
