Program Overview
Winterball26 Softball Training delivers free, high-rep Saturday sessions to get AAA, Majors, and AA players (and AA coaches) ready for spring. Join as many dates as you are free; each session is capped at 24 to keep reps high.

AAA, Majors (pick any Saturdays)
- Dates: Jan 3, Jan 10, Jan 17, Jan 24, Jan 31.
- Time blocks: 12:00 - 1:15 PM or 1:30 - 2:45 PM.
- Skills: Pitching, hitting, throwing, fielding.
- Capacity: 24 athletes per block.

- Time blocks: 12:00 - 1:15 PM or 1:30 - 2:45 PM.
- Skills: Pitching and throwing.
- Design: Built for both players and coaches to learn proper pitching technique.
- Capacity: 24 athletes per block.

Why This Matters
- Sharpen skills before Assessments (Feb 7 for AAA and above) with extra reps in January.
- Free access removes barriers; scholarships are not needed for this program.
- Small caps keep instruction tight and feedback frequent.
Coach: Nicola Simpson
Nicola is a pitcher and hitter with NCAA Division I and international experience, including the Women's College World Series and SEC titles with Tennessee, and a Pitcher/Utility role at Seattle University. She also works with Seattle Fastpitch (a select/club program - see NCLL's select/club explainer for how these programs work). She has competed for the Canadian Women's Senior National Team with a 1.31 ERA at the World Games.
Highlights: WA State Gatorade Player of the Year (2021), PGF All-American, 498 career strikeouts and 14 no-hitters in high school, NFCA All-Region at Seattle U (2025). Academic honors include CSC Academic All-District and Easton/NFCA Scholar Athlete.

Parents who want to be involved can sign up to volunteer while registering their kids. AA coaches and parents are encouraged to attend.
