Program Overview

Get ready for the 2025 season with NCLL's FREE February outdoor ramp‑up sessions. Designed for league age 10–12 (AAA & Majors) players to sharpen fundamentals, build arm strength, and knock off rust before teams form. Led by experienced volunteer coaches, the station‑based format delivers quality reps and coaching feedback ahead of assessments and regular practices.

About the Coaches

NCLL Majors & AAA volunteer coaches lead each session. You'll recognize many from assessments and spring team dugouts. Their focus: consistent terminology, age‑appropriate progressions, and repetition quality in a supportive environment.

Skills & Focus

  • Progressive throwing & arm care (proper warm‑up, build into distance)
  • Infield & outfield defensive fundamentals (footwork, approach, transfers)
  • Hitting station rotations (tee & front toss reps for barrel control)
  • Base running awareness & situational decision making
  • Movement, coordination, and early‑season conditioning
