TRYOUTS
Sunday, May 19th
Time & Location:
FORMATION
Upon completion of the tryout, a group of NCLL coaches will collectively determine the players that make each team's roster.
We hope more players at each age level are interested in playing All-Stars than we have roster spots available. If we don’t have enough interest at an age level, we may also co-league with a neighboring league to field a full, competitive team. All-Star teams require a minimum of 12 players.
Each age level may have some players that do not make the All-Star team.
TEAMS WILL BE FORMED ON THE BASIS:
Coaches have been evaluating players since the beginning of the season and will continue to do so until teams are formed. We expect rosters to be announced by May 24th.

If you apply to the all stars team, you are expected to clear your schedule and commit to attendance at most practices and ALL games for the period of June 1 through July 19 for the District tournament, and beyond if your team goes to State tournaments. All-Stars Tournaments are double elimination. The commitment ends when the team has lost two games. The team who wins District 8 goes on to State. In 2022 only Winners of Washington State Majors (U12), Juniors (U13), and Seniors (U16) will go on to play in Regional and World Series tournaments.
Players will attend tryouts and teams will be announced shortly after. Practices are coach discretion but will likely be 4-5 events per week leading up to the tournament, including practices, special instruction and scrimmages or tournaments. This intensive period of player development will benefit your player immensely.
There are very specific eligibility requirements to play in All Stars.
Each league can assemble only one All-Stars team in each of the divisions that tournaments are offered. For 60’ diamond divisions, they are broken down by league playing age 8/9/10, 9/10/11, and 11/12. Our league’s priority is to put the most competitive team on the field in each division. Since there are normally more applicants than spots, it may be necessary to cut some players.
Exact tournament dates are not yet available. Estimates are below.
