Baseball Winter Development

NCLL has arranged for top-flight off-season training from baseball professionals to prepare your youngster for assessments (AAA/Majors) and to get ready for the season. The training opportunities differ depending on the division your player is expected to play in this year:


AAA/Majors - Saturday January/February Baseball Camp

NCLL is pleased to offer parents of players in the AAA and Majors baseball divisions (league age 10-12) the opportunity to get their youngsters professional instruction from E|L1 Sports, a leader in the field of athletic training for kids, at a deep discount!

What: Topics covered will be as follows (curriculum will be adjusted for skill levels):
       - Throwing/Pitching Technique
       - Infield/Outfield
       - Hitting
       - Baseball IQ

When: Two sessions....

  • Session 1 (assessments prep): Saturdays in January (Jan 4,11,18 and 25) from 2:30 to 4:00
  • Session 2 (season prep): Saturdays in February (Feb 8, 15, 22 and 29) from 2:30 to 4:00

A/AA - Saturday/Sunday January Baseball Camp

NCLL has engaged with Mark Linden and Baseball Positive to offer training for younger players and their parents in the A and AA divisions (league age 6-9).

What: Topics covered will include throwing technique, hitting fundamentals and baserunning. (Curriculum will be adjusted for skill levels). Note that a parent is expected to participate in the training!

When: Two sessions, each held on the first two Saturdays and Sundays in January (Jan 4/5 and Jan 11/12). Time depends on league age.


  • League age 6/7: 12:30 to 1:30
  • League age 7/8: 1:30 to 2:30
  • League age 8/9: 2:30 to 3:30

Where: The Wallingford Boys & Girls Club near the corner of Stone and 45th St.

How much: NCLL has negotiated a rate of just $100 per player for all four one-hour sessions.

How do I register: Register your player for these sessions during your regular player registration. Hurry, class sizes are limited!
